State Senate District 21, soon to be vacated by Brandon Beach, includes parts of Cherokee and Fulton counties
Canton, GA – Jason T. Dickerson, a lifelong Cherokee County resident, business owner, and Christian community leader, proudly announced his candidacy for Georgia State Senate District 21 today. He steps forward to succeed his friend and colleague, Senator Brandon Beach, who has been appointed Treasurer of the United States by President Donald Trump.
“Brandon has been a tireless advocate for our district,” Dickerson said. “I’m grateful for his years of service. I wish him all the best in his new role serving our nation and working with President Trump as he answers the American people’s clear mandate to Make America Great Again.”
Born and raised in Cherokee County, Dickerson’s roots run deep in the community he loves. The son and grandson of combat veterans, he grew up on a farm in Union Hill, learning the values of hard work, faith, and service. For nearly 30 years, he has channeled those conservative Republican values into a successful business career - which included co-founding Quest Trucking, a long-haul transportation company that employed over 400 people and was known for its iconic, military-themed tractor trailers honoring America’s veterans.
For Dickerson, service has always been the heartbeat of his life. Through the Jason T. Dickerson Family Foundation, he and his family donate nearly $1.5 million annually to support those in need in Cherokee County. The foundation’s work helps provide utility and rent assistance for struggling seniors, temporary and permanent housing for homeless veterans, and offers scholarships to local students pursuing their dreams. “I’ve always believed that if you see a need, you step up to meet it,” Dickerson said. “That’s how we make our community stronger—together.”
As a political outsider, Dickerson is stepping up to serve our community rather than lobbyists or special interests. “I don’t have all the answers and I’m not a typical politician. But I know how to listen, how to work hard, and how to get results,” he said. “I’m asking for the trust of my neighbors in Cherokee County and across District 21 to stand with me and protect our conservative way of life.”
The election for State Senate District 21 promises to be a pivotal moment for our community, and Jason T. Dickerson is ready to lead with the same dedication that has defined his life. For more information about his campaign, visit www.DickersonForGeorgia.com.
