Born and raised in Cherokee County, Jason's roots run deep in the community he loves. The son and grandson of combat veterans, he grew up on a farm in Union Hill, learning the values of hard work, faith, and service. For nearly 30 years, he has channeled those conservative Republican values into a successful business career - which included co-founding Quest Trucking, a long-haul transportation company that employed over 400 people and was known for its iconic, military-themed tractor trailers honoring America’s veterans.
For Dickerson, service has always been the heartbeat of his life. Through the Jason T. Dickerson Family Foundation, he and his family donate nearly $1.5 million annually to support those in need in Cherokee County. The foundation’s work helps provide utility and rent assistance for struggling seniors, temporary and permanent housing for homeless veterans, and offers scholarships to local students pursuing their dreams. Jason has always believed that if you see a need, you step up to meet it. That’s how we make our community stronger—together.
As a political outsider, Dickerson is stepping up to serve our community rather than lobbyists or special interests. And he's asking for the trust of his neighbors in Cherokee County and across District 21 to stand with him and protect our conservative way of life.
